About Coach Mitz

I was raised in Bismarck, ND. I played every sport possible which drove my parents crazy. I played hockey, basketball, wrestling, football, track, and rodeo.

Football became my favorite sport and one I excelled at. We won the North Dakota state championship 3 out 4 years in high school. I tore my ACL my junior year which impeded playing in college. I still love coaching football and being around any aspect of it.

Favorite Food: anything Mexican
Hobbies: hiking, mountain biking, camping, shooting & hunting
Family: married to Julie for 24 years and we have 3 children: Seth(22), Maggie (21), Molly(14)

I have been on staff with FCA for almost 8 years and love the opportunity to mix faith and sports. Coaching our youth is one of my favorite passions.
